A well-established and growing law firm located in Iselin, NJ is seeking a talented General Liability Associate Attorney to join their team. This full-time, regular position focuses on a wide range of legal practice areas, including commercial motor vehicle defense, premises liability, UM/UIM, construction accidents, and product liability. The ideal candidate will bring trial experience and thrive in a high-volume, fast-paced work environment.

Duties:

• Manage and represent clients in a variety of general liability matters.
• Handle all phases of litigation, including discovery, depositions, motions, and trials.
• Collaborate with clients, colleagues, and experts to prepare and present cases effectively.
• Draft legal documents, such as pleadings, motions, and correspondence.
• Provide legal guidance and advice to clients on complex issues.
• Maintain strong attention to detail, manage a caseload, and meet deadlines.
• Stay updated with relevant case law and regulatory changes to ensure effective representation.

Requirements:

• Must be licensed to practice law in New Jersey and good standing.
• At least 3 years of litigation experience, particularly in general liability.
• Experience in commercial motor vehicle defense, UM/UIM, premises liability, construction accident, and product liability preferred.
• Strong legal research, writing, and communication skills.
• Ability to work independently as well as part of a collaborative team.
• Excellent time management and organizational skills.
• Self-motivated with a proactive approach to legal challenges.

Education:

• Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an ABA-accredited law school.

Certifications:

• Active Bar membership in New Jersey.
