Duties:

  • Handle local and national accounts throughout the state of California.
  • Independently manage a litigation caseload.
  • Conduct depositions and prepare witnesses for deposition and trial.
  • Review and analyze discovery requests.
  • Prepare and respond to discovery responses and pleadings.
  • Prepare court filings and ensure service to counsel; proficiency with e-filing.
  • Provide trial preparation and support.
  • Maintain accurate time records.

Requirements:

  • 2 years of experience in complex litigation, toxic tort, or environmental liability.
  • Juris Doctor from an accredited law school.
  • Admission to practice in the state of California.
  • Experience with motion practice and depositions.
  • Experience taking the lead in plaintiff and expert depositions.
  • Capability for independent work.
  • Ability to work in an organized and efficient manner.
  • Superior research and writing skills.
  • Ability to multitask.
  • Capability to analyze complex matters.

Education & Certifications:

  • Juris Doctor from an accredited law school.
  • Admission to practice in the state of California.
