Key Duties:

• Independently manage a variety of family law cases, including divorce, custody, child support, spousal support, and equitable distribution.
• Provide legal consultations, conduct in-depth research, and develop case strategies.
• Draft and review legal documents such as pleadings, motions, settlement agreements, and pre/post-nuptial agreements.
• Represent clients in court hearings, trials, mediations, and settlement discussions.
• Negotiate settlements and advocate in contested cases with a focus on favorable outcomes.
• Collaborate with senior attorneys and legal team members to ensure effective case management.
• Maintain strong client relationships, keeping them informed and engaged throughout the legal process.

Required Qualifications:

• J.D. or L.L.M. from an accredited law school.
• Active license to practice law in New York.
• 3-6 years of experience in family law, particularly with divorce and matrimonial matters in New York City.
• Proven litigation and courtroom advocacy experience.
• Strong written communication, negotiation, and case management skills.
• Ability to work autonomously and as part of a team.
• A client-focused, compassionate approach to family law matters.

Education & Certifications:

• Juris Doctor (J.D.) or Master of Laws (L.L.M.) from an accredited law school.
• Licensed to practice law in New York.
