This role will support the firm's operations remotely from Augusta, collaborating primarily with the Atlanta office. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in litigation, including a minimum of two years of experience, and be licensed to practice law in Georgia. Duties:

• Represent clients in various litigation matters, handling cases from inception through resolution.
• Draft pleadings, motions, discovery requests, and other legal documents.
• Participate in depositions, mediations, and court hearings.
• Provide strategic advice to clients regarding legal risks and opportunities.
• Collaborate with colleagues and senior attorneys to develop case strategies.
• Manage case files, ensuring deadlines and compliance requirements are met.
• Attend and represent clients in hearings and trials when necessary.
• Maintain up-to-date knowledge of changes in state and federal laws impacting litigation.

Requirements:

• Minimum of 2 years of litigation experience.
• Active Bar membership in Georgia.
• Proven ability to handle complex legal matters with minimal supervision.
• Strong legal research, writing, and communication skills.
• Ability to work effectively independently and as part of a team.
• High level of attention to detail and organizational skills.

Education:

• Juris Doctorate (J.D.) or equivalent law degree.

Certifications:

• Licensed to practice law in Georgia (required).

Skills:

• Strong litigation skills, including trial preparation and courtroom experience.
• Expertise in legal writing, including drafting motions and briefs.
• Proficient in legal research and utilizing case management software.
• Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
• Ability to prioritize and manage multiple cases and deadlines effectively.
