Plaintiffs-Side Workers Compensation Associate Attorney

Job Overview: A law firm in Richmond, CA, is seeking a dynamic and motivated Plaintiff' s-Side Workers' Compensation Associate Attorney to represent injured workers in federal workers' compensation claims.

Duties:

• Advocate on behalf of injured workers in federal workers' compensation claims.
• Conduct legal research and draft legal documents such as pleadings, motions, and briefs.
• Attend hearings, trials, and mediations as necessary.
• Negotiate settlements on behalf of clients.
• Provide legal advice and guidance to clients regarding their workers' compensation claims.

Requirements:

• Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from an accredited law school.
• Admission to the bar and license to practice law in any state.
• Experience practicing law, preferably in workers' compensation or related fields.
• Strong understanding of federal workers' compensation laws and procedures.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Education:

• Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from an accredited law school.
