Associate Attorney needed for Charlotte office

A law firm in Charlotte, NC, is seeking a motivated and energetic Associate Attorney to join their team. The ideal candidate will be currently licensed to practice law in North Carolina and possess strong time management and organizational skills. The role requires a self-starter with a positive attitude, who is computer savvy and able to handle basic software. The candidate should be adept at analyzing facts, identifying key legal issues, conducting legal research, and developing creative litigation strategies.

Duties:

• Manage a caseload of legal matters, including case preparation and execution.
• Analyze case facts, identify key legal issues, and conduct thorough legal research.
• Develop and execute innovative litigation strategies to effectively represent clients.
• Draft and review legal documents, including pleadings, motions, and briefs.
• Prepare for and participate in court hearings, depositions, and trials.
• Maintain effective communication with clients, opposing counsel, and court personnel.
• Organize and manage case files, ensuring timely progression of legal matters.
• Utilize basic software for legal research, case management, and documentation.

Requirements:

• Currently licensed to practice law in North Carolina.
