Job Overview: A leading law firm’s Finance & Restructuring practice group is seeking a mid-level Associate Attorney to join its Fund Finance team. This role is ideal for attorneys with 4-6 years of transactional legal experience, especially those with expertise in finance law. 

Location

  • Los Angeles, CA

Duties

  • Manage and support fund finance transactions as part of the Finance & Restructuring practice.
  • Draft, negotiate, and review finance-related agreements and legal documentation.
  • Conduct comprehensive legal research to support transaction strategies and case decisions.
  • Maintain ongoing communication with clients, providing guidance and updates on fund finance matters.
  • Ensure all finance transactions comply with legal standards and best practices.

Requirements

  • 4-6 years of transactional legal experience; experience in finance law is preferred.
  • Strong academic record with proven research and analytical capabilities.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Education

  • Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.

Certifications

  • Active bar membership in good standing within the candidate's state of residence.

  • Expertise in drafting, negotiating, and managing complex finance-related documents.
