Duties

• Draft motions, pleadings, and other legal filings.
• Conduct legal research and analyze case law.
• Take and defend depositions.
• Represent clients in court proceedings, including hearings and oral arguments.
• Engage in discovery, including drafting and responding to interrogatories and requests for production.
• Communicate effectively with clients, co-counsel, and opposing counsel.
• Participate in case strategy development and trial preparation.

Requirements

• 3-4 years of experience in litigation, preferably in consumer or employment law.
• Strong legal writing and research skills.
• Ability to manage cases, interact with clients, and work collaboratively within a legal team.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Demonstrated ability to handle depositions, court appearances, and motion practice.

Education

• Juris Doctor (J.D.) from an accredited law school.

Certifications

• An active member in good standing with the California State Bar.
