Insurance Litigation/Coverage Associate

A prominent, well-established law firm is seeking an Insurance Litigation/Coverage Associate with 3 or more years of experience to join their growing team. Location:

• Chicago, IL

Duties:

• Represent clients in commercial litigation and professional liability litigation matters
• Analyze insurance policies to identify coverage issues
• Draft coverage opinions, reservations, and disclaimers
• Represent clients in insurance coverage litigation
• Collaborate with senior attorneys and clients to develop case strategies

Requirements:

• Minimum of 3 years of experience in insurance coverage, commercial litigation, or professional liability matters
• Strong experience in legal research, drafting, and client communication
• Ability to manage multiple cases simultaneously and prioritize effectively
• Demonstrated ability to identify and resolve complex legal issues

Education:

• J.D. from a top-tier, accredited law school
• Member in good standing of the Illinois Bar (Indiana Bar is a plus)

Certifications:

• Admission to the Illinois Bar required (Indiana Bar admission is a plus)

Skills:

• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Excellent legal research and analytical abilities
• Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, etc.)
• Ability to manage and prioritize multiple projects and deadlines
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
