A law firm in Dallas is seeking a Junior/Mid-Level Real Estate Associate Attorney with 2-6 years of commercial real estate experience. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in real estate transactions, including acquisitions, dispositions, joint ventures, and commercial leasing. Experience in real estate finance and development is a plus, and a background with a large law firm is preferred.

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Handle real estate transactions, including acquisitions and dispositions of commercial properties.
  • Draft and review purchase and sale agreements, lease agreements, and joint venture agreements.
  • Provide legal advice on real estate finance, development, and leasing matters.
  • Conduct due diligence and coordinate with clients, stakeholders, and other legal professionals.
  • Negotiate terms and conditions of real estate transactions.
  • Assist with the structuring of real estate transactions and joint ventures.
  • Prepare and review closing documents and oversee the closing process.
  • Stay updated on relevant laws and regulations affecting real estate transactions and development.
  • Support senior attorneys in complex real estate matters and litigation.

Requirements:

  • 2-6 years of commercial real estate experience.
  • Proven track record in handling acquisitions, dispositions, and leasing of commercial properties.
  • Familiarity with real estate finance and development is advantageous.
  • Experience with a large law firm is preferred.

Education:

  • Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.

Certifications:

  • Admission to the state bar in Texas.

Skills:

  • Strong understanding of real estate law and commercial transactions.
  • Excellent drafting and negotiation skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and work under tight deadlines.
  • Strong research and analytical skills.
