A law firm is seeking an experienced Probate, Guardianship, and Estate Planning Attorney to join its growing team. This position offers the opportunity to handle all aspects of probate, guardianship, and estate planning cases from consultation to resolution. With over 5 years of experience, the ideal candidate will have a strong background in these practice areas. This role provides the flexibility of working from home two days a week after a 90-day probationary period, with primary office locations near The Villages, and options to work from Clermont or Winter Garden.

Duties:

  • Manage probate, guardianship, and estate planning cases from start to finish.
  • Conduct client consultations and provide legal advice on estate matters.
  • Draft and review estate planning documents, including wills, trusts, powers of attorney, and guardianship petitions.
  • Oversee probate administration and guardianship proceedings.
  • Represent clients in court hearings related to probate and guardianship matters.
  • Collaborate with legal teams to ensure the successful resolution of cases.

Requirements:

  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in probate, guardianship, and estate planning.
  • Ability to handle cases independently from consultation to case closure.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Excellent client management and interpersonal skills.

Education:

  • Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school.

Certifications:

  • Admission to the Florida State Bar (required).

Skills:

  • Proficiency in legal research tools and estate planning software.
  • Strong organizational and time management abilities.
  • Attention to detail and accuracy in drafting legal documents.
