Duties:

  • Provide patent prosecution services, handling all aspects of the patent application process.
  • Counsel clients on patent strategies, portfolio management, and technology-specific IP needs.
  • Conduct freedom-to-operate analyses and due diligence assessments for various technologies.
  • Collaborate with a team of over 40 IP professionals to deliver top-notch legal support.
  • Maintain strong client relationships and provide guidance on complex intellectual property matters.

Requirements:

  • 1-5 years of experience in patent prosecution, with at least 3+ years preferred.
  • Proven track record in handling patent matters within mechanical, electrical engineering, or related fields.
  • Strong analytical, writing, and communication skills to navigate complex legal and technical concepts.

Education:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Electrical Engineering, or a related technical field.

Certifications:

  • Registration to practice with the U.S. Patent and Trademark Office (USPTO) is required.

Skills:

  • Strong technical knowledge in patent prosecution and intellectual property law.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills to effectively interact with clients and team members.
  • Highly organized with the ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines simultaneously.
