Litigation Associate

Newport News office of a BCG Attorney Search Top Ranked Law Firm seeks litigation associate with 3+ years of real estate litigation; eminent domain experience preferred. The candidate will prepare court pleadings including drafting motions and responses, and filing and answering discovery requests. Research and draft memoranda of law and briefs. Participate in pretrial and trial hearings. Prepare attorneys and clients for trials and depositions. The candidate should be skilled in meeting with clients and conducting client and witness interviews. Participate in appeal briefs, responses and oral arguments. Should have a Juris Doctorate degree from a law school accredited by the American Bar Association with an outstanding academic record. Must have admission to the Virginia Bar. Must be and remain licensed to practice law and in good standing in the State of Virginia.
