Job Overview: A well-established personal injury law firm in Colorado is seeking a highly skilled Personal Injury Attorney with extensive pre-litigation and litigation experience. The successful candidate will play a critical role in managing personal injury cases from initial documentation through settlement, ensuring maximum recovery for clients. This role requires leadership, empathy, and strong communication skills to foster collaboration within the legal team.

Location:

Duties:

  • Conduct monthly case reviews to assess and advance client cases
  • Ensure that vital correspondence (e.g., CGIA notices, spoliation letters, WC notices) is drafted accurately and sent promptly
  • Review demand letters with clients and ensure all injuries, damages, and losses are documented for maximum recovery
  • Handle settlement disbursements, including resolving subrogation claims, liens, and third-party interests
  • Research and analyze case-specific legal issues such as insurance policies, liens, and settlement releases
  • Maintain strong rapport with clients through regular communication and advisement
  • Negotiate settlements on behalf of clients

Requirements:

  • Minimum of 4 years of experience in personal injury law, with knowledge of auto collisions, premises liability, and general negligence
  • Licensed to practice law in Colorado
  • Strong leadership skills with a focus on collaboration and problem-solving
  • Excellent communication and negotiation abilities
  • Ability to build and manage client relationships effectively

Education:

  • Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from an accredited law school

Certifications:

  • Licensed to practice law in Colorado

Skills:

  • Expertise in personal injury law, including pre-litigation and litigation processes
  • Strong research and analytical skills
