Duties:

  • Manage and assist with all aspects of complex civil litigation cases, focusing on defense litigation.
  • Represent clients in state and federal courts throughout Pennsylvania and New Jersey.

  • Conduct legal research, and draft pleadings, motions, and briefs.
  • Attend hearings, depositions, mediations, and trials as necessary.
  • Work collaboratively with other attorneys and staff members to achieve client objectives.
  • Maintain organized case files and ensure timely progression of cases.

Requirements:

  • 3-5 years of experience in civil litigation, primarily defense.
  • Admitted to practice law in both Pennsylvania and New Jersey (required).
  • Ability to travel to various court locations across PA and NJ.
  • Strong research, writing, and analytical skills.
  • Ability to work effectively as part of a team while managing individual caseloads.
  • Sense of urgency and attention to detail in managing case timelines.
  • Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.

Education:

  • Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school.

Certifications:

  • Active bar admissions in both Pennsylvania and New Jersey (required).
