Mid-level M&A Associate

Job Overview: A prominent law firm is seeking a talented mid-level associate with 4-6 years of experience to join its Mergers & Acquisitions (M&A) and Private Equity team in Dallas. The ideal candidate will have experience working on M&A and Private Equity matters, offering the opportunity to work with leading businesses and contribute to high-impact, transformative deals.

Location:

• Dallas, TX

Duties:

• Work on complex M&A and Private Equity transactions
• Represent clients in negotiations, due diligence, and document preparation
• Collaborate with partners, associates, and staff across offices
• Manage client relationships and provide strategic legal advice
• Perform legal research, drafting, and analysis related to M&A matters
• Handle multiple projects efficiently under tight deadlines

Requirements:

• 4-6 years of experience in M&A and Private Equity matters
• Ability to manage and prioritize multiple assignments in a fast-paced environment
• Strong analytical, research, and writing skills
• Ability to work well under pressure and manage time effectively
• Must be admitted and in good standing with the bar in the jurisdiction where practicing, or able to provide written confirmation of eligibility for admission

Education:

• Juris Doctor (JD) degree (LLM or foreign equivalent) from an accredited law school

Certifications:

• Admission to the bar in the jurisdiction where you will practice, or ability to become admitted
