Job Overview:
A prominent law firm based in New York City, NY, seeks a dedicated Associate Attorney specializing in ERISA and Executive Compensation. Duties:

  • Advise clients on executive compensation and employee benefits matters, including plan design, compliance, and governance.
  • Handle matters related to the Employee Retirement Income Security Act (ERISA).
  • Assist in negotiating, drafting, and reviewing compensation arrangements and benefits-related agreements.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams on transactional and corporate matters, including mergers and acquisitions.
  • Conduct research, draft memoranda, and provide recommendations on complex legal issues.
  • Support clients in compliance with federal and state regulatory requirements.

Requirements:

  • 1-5 years of experience in a similar role, preferably within a law firm setting.
  • Demonstrated interest and expertise in executive compensation and ERISA matters.
  • Proactive, entrepreneurial mindset with strong collaborative skills.

Education:

  • Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from an accredited law school.
  • High academic achievement is essential.

Certifications:

  • Admission to the New York, Washington, D.C., or Texas Bar (or eligibility to waive in).
