Location:

Duties:

  • Represent clients in complex family law matters, including divorce, child custody, child support, alimony, and marital property distribution.

  • Provide legal guidance and strategy to clients, ensuring their rights and interests are protected.

  • Prepare legal documents, including petitions, motions, and settlement agreements.

  • Handle negotiations and settlement discussions with opposing parties.

  • Represent clients in family law litigation, including court appearances and hearings.

  • Mentor junior associates and paralegals within the firm.

  • Manage a caseload while maintaining high standards of client service and timely communication.

Requirements:

  • Minimum of 7 years of experience in family law practice.

  • Proven experience handling complex family law cases, both litigated and negotiated.

  • Ability to manage a caseload independently and work effectively with clients and opposing counsel.

  • Strong written and oral communication skills.

  • Excellent negotiation skills with the ability to resolve disputes effectively.

  • Ability to work in a team-oriented and collaborative environment.

Education:

  • Juris Doctor (J.D.) from an accredited law school.

Certifications:

  • Admission to practice law in the state of New Jersey.

Skills:

  • Strong legal research and writing abilities.

  • In-depth knowledge of family law statutes, regulations, and case law.

  • Exceptional client management and interpersonal skills.

  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple cases simultaneously.
