Mid-Level Pharmacy Associate Attorney

A law firm is seeking a Mid-Level Pharmacy Associate Attorney to join their team in Florham Park, NJ.

Job Overview:

The Mid-Level Pharmacy Associate Attorney will be responsible for handling matters related to pharmacy regulation and compliance, including online pharmacies and telehealth, licensing issues, DEA and controlled substances, drug distribution, compounding, and reimbursement matters.

Duties:

• Handle legal matters involving pharmacy regulation and compliance.
• Assist with licensing issues, including changes of ownership and de novo licensure.
• Address DEA and controlled substances regulations.
• Manage drug distribution and supply chain issues.
• Provide legal guidance on drug compounding.
• Handle pharmacy benefits and reimbursement matters.

Requirements:

• 4-6 years of experience in pharmacy law.
• Experience as a pharmacist attorney or an attorney with pharmacy-related experience.
• Strong academic credentials.
• Excellent writing skills.
• Commitment to excellent client service.

Education:

• Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.

Certifications:

• Admission to the bar in the state of New Jersey (or willingness to become admitted).

Skills:

• Strong understanding of pharmacy law and regulations.
• Excellent research and analytical skills.
• Ability to communicate effectively with clients and colleagues.
• Attention to detail and ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
