Duties

  • Oversee eDiscovery tasks for large-scale litigation cases.
  • Manage project timelines, budgets, and execution standards to ensure smooth and timely delivery.
  • Draft and negotiate protocols, orders, and agreements related to discovery processes.
  • Serve as the primary contact for eDiscovery matters between internal teams, partners, and clients.
  • Supervise and guide document review teams, ensuring adherence to quality control standards.
  • Prepare detailed project budgets and forecasts, while monitoring and reviewing invoices.
  • Develop and manage document review workflows, including the quality assurance process.
  • Provide training and mentorship to junior attorneys to enhance team performance and work product.
  • Maintain a positive and collaborative team environment to foster effective project execution.

Requirements

  • 3-5 years of experience in eDiscovery within a law firm, corporate legal department, or government agency.
  • Strong organizational and multitasking abilities with a keen attention to detail.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to convey complex information.
  • Proven experience in managing litigation projects, including budget creation and forecasting.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively, demonstrating leadership and judgment.
  • Ability to prioritize tasks and manage competing deadlines effectively.
  • Admitted to practice in California or eligible for admission.

Education

  • Juris Doctor (J.D.) or Master of Laws (LL.M.) from an accredited law school.

Certifications

  • Active membership in the California Bar or eligibility for admission.
