Job Title: Senior Litigation Attorney

Job Overview: A law firm in Atlanta, GA, is seeking a Senior Litigation Attorney to join their team. The ideal candidate will manage all litigation phases from inception through trial or settlement, provide strategic advice to clients, and supervise junior attorneys and support staff.

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Reviewing and drafting discovery responses, briefs, motions, and memoranda
  • Effectively communicating, verbally and in writing, with clients, lawyers, business professionals, and third parties
  • Producing deliverables, answering phone calls, and replying to correspondence in an efficient and responsive manner
  • Providing timely, accurate, and quality work product
  • Successfully meeting deadlines expectations, and performing work duties as required
  • Fostering positive work relationships and complying with all firm policies and practices
  • Engaging in both physical and sedentary activities, such as working at a computer for extended periods, participating in digital/virtual conference calls, and attending meetings as needed
  • Performing all other duties, tasks, or projects as assigned

Requirements:

  • Minimum 6 years of experience as a Litigation Attorney
  • Experience drafting litigation documents such as motions to dismiss, written discovery, and summary judgment motions
  • Strong analytical and writing skills with attention to detail
  • Good business judgment and excellent organizational skills
  • Ability to work collaboratively and independently
  • Demonstrated oral and written communication skills
  • Research and problem-solving abilities with conceptual thinking
  • Ability to influence others and persuasive communication skills
  • Management skills with the ability to multi-task and prioritize
  • Strong project management skills

Education and Certifications:

  • Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school
  • Admission to the Georgia State Bar is required
