This is a full-time, in-person opportunity for an attorney who thrives in a dynamic legal environment. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with discovery, depositions, hearings, and motion practice, and will be comfortable managing their own caseload under the support of experienced leadership. This position offers the chance to work on diverse matters ranging from general civil litigation to complex business and constitutional employment claims.

Duties

  • Conduct legal research and draft pleadings, motions, and legal correspondence

  • Handle written discovery, including drafting and responding

  • Take and defend depositions

  • Argue motions and appear at court hearings

  • Participate in both bench and jury trials

  • Negotiate settlements and advocate for clients during dispute resolution

  • Communicate effectively with clients, opposing counsel, and courts

  • Collaborate within a legal team while independently managing assigned matters

Requirements

  • Experience drafting complex motions and responses independently

  • Proven ability to argue hearings and conduct depositions

  • Demonstrated litigation experience from inception through trial preferred

  • Ability to work autonomously and within a collaborative legal team

  • High level of professionalism and organizational skills

Education

  • Juris Doctor (J.D.) from an accredited law school

Certifications

  • Active license to practice law in the State of Texas (in good standing)
