Duties:

  • Case Management:

    • Manage a docket of employment law cases in the pre-litigation phase, focusing on timely and effective resolution.
  • Settlement Negotiation:

    • Negotiate favorable settlement agreements with opposing counsel, ensuring the best possible outcomes for clients.
  • Collaboration:

    • Work closely with other attorneys and support staff to ensure smooth and efficient case management and communication throughout the process.
  • Client Advocacy:

    • Advocate for clients' rights, ensuring their interests are protected during the pre-litigation phase.

Requirements:

  • 2 to 5 years of experience in employment law.
  • Proven track record of successfully negotiating settlements and resolving employment law cases.
  • Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to interact effectively with clients, opposing counsel, and team members.
  • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail to manage a docket of cases efficiently.
  • Must be in good standing with the California State Bar.

Education:

  • Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school.

Certifications:

  • Active membership in the California State Bar.
