A law firm in Florham Park, NJ, is seeking a Corporate Associate Attorney with 4-6 years of experience in corporate finance. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in commercial finance transactions, including loan originations and real estate financings, along with excellent writing skills and superior academics.

 

Duties:

  • Draft loan, security, intercreditor, and related documents for corporate finance transactions.
  • Advise clients on covenant compliance and regulatory requirements.
  • Lead due diligence teams and manage specialists involved in finance transactions.
  • Manage multiple assignments with minimal supervision.
  • Provide legal advice and counsel to clients on finance-related matters.
  • Conduct legal research and analysis on complex finance issues.
  • Assist with business development and client relationship management efforts.

 

Requirements:

  • 4-6 years of experience in corporate finance.
  • Experience working with financial institutions and borrowers in commercial finance transactions preferred.
  • Excellent writing skills and superior academic credentials.
  • Ability to manage multiple assignments and work under pressure.
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
  • Ability to work effectively in a team environment.

 

Education:

Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from an accredited law school.

 

Certifications:

Admission to the New Jersey State Bar or eligibility for admission by waiver or examination.
