Duties:
• Represent clients in general commercial litigation and bankruptcy cases, including Chapter 7 and 11 filings
• Collaborate with senior attorneys to strategize, research, and draft legal documents such as pleadings and motions
• Attend hearings, conduct depositions, and represent clients in court as needed
• Provide strategic legal advice to clients in the areas of litigation and bankruptcy
• Assist with business development and networking efforts to help expand the firm’s clientele

Requirements:
• Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school
• Must be admitted to the New York State Bar; additional admission to the New Jersey or Connecticut Bar is a plus
• 2-5 years of substantial experience in commercial litigation and Chapter 7/11 bankruptcy matters
• Strong legal research, writing, and oral communication skills
• Ability to work independently while maintaining a collaborative approach in a remote setting
• Demonstrated interest or experience in business development is advantageous

Education:
• Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school

Certifications:
• New York State Bar Admission required
• Additional bar admissions (NJ/CT) are a plus

Skills:
• Expertise in general commercial litigation and bankruptcy law
• Excellent legal writing, research, and advocacy skills
• Strong communication and client management capabilities
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and work effectively in a remote work environment
