Duties:

• Independently manage civil litigation case files, primarily in personal injury and construction defect defense
• Perform legal research and writing tasks
• Attend court hearings and trial proceedings as necessary
• Participate in client consultations and offer strategic legal advice
• Collaborate with other attorneys and legal staff to ensure high-quality legal representation
• Handle discovery, depositions, and settlement negotiations
• Assist in marketing and client development initiatives
• Maintain professional relationships with clients, providing updates on case progress

Requirements:

• Licensed to practice law in the State of Utah
• 3-8 years of experience in civil litigation, particularly in insurance defense
• Strong work ethic and ability to handle cases independently
• Excellent communication, analytical, research, and writing skills
• Ability to travel when necessary
• Trial experience is preferred but not required

Education:

• Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school
• Admitted to the Utah Bar Association

Certifications:

• Active and in good standing with the Utah State Bar
