Duties:

  • Handle sophisticated corporate transactions, including mergers, acquisitions, divestitures, and strategic joint ventures.

  • Draft, review, and negotiate a variety of business agreements and financing documents.
  • Assist in business restructuring, reorganizations, and related transactions.
  • Conduct legal research, develop strategies, and provide legal advice to clients on complex corporate matters.
  • Collaborate closely with senior attorneys and clients to ensure efficient case management and the achievement of favorable outcomes.
  • Manage client relationships and provide exceptional service while maintaining the firm’s reputation for excellence.

Requirements:

  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in corporate law with a focus on M&A, business transactions, and entity governance.
  • Proven experience with a wide range of corporate matters, including financing, restructuring, and joint ventures.
  • Strong analytical skills and the ability to think strategically in high-pressure situations.
  • Demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects and priorities effectively.
  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
  • Ability to work collaboratively within a team-oriented environment.

Education:

  • Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.

Certifications:

  • Admission to the State Bar of Illinois.

Skills:

  • Strong knowledge of corporate law, M&A processes, and business transactions.
  • Exceptional legal research and writing abilities.
  • Skilled in drafting and negotiating business agreements and documents.
  • Ability to manage and prioritize complex tasks in a fast-paced environment.
