Job Overview:
A prominent international law firm is seeking to hire a highly qualified midlevel associate to join its Corporate & Business Transactions practice group. The ideal candidate will have 4-5 years of law firm experience, specifically in M&A/Private Equity transactions, with a focus on drafting and negotiating transaction agreements. The position offers the opportunity to work on complex corporate transactions while collaborating with experienced legal professionals.

Location:

Duties:

  • Manage M&A/Private Equity transactions, including drafting, reviewing, and negotiating transaction agreements.
  • Provide legal guidance and support to clients on complex corporate transactions.
  • Conduct legal research to support corporate transaction matters.
  • Assist senior attorneys with structuring deals and resolving legal challenges.
  • Prepare and review legal documents, such as contracts, agreements, and related transaction documents.
  • Support business development efforts and client relationships.

Requirements:

  • 4-5 years of experience in M&A/Private Equity transactions at a law firm.
  • Strong expertise in drafting and negotiating transaction agreements.
  • Ability to manage complex legal matters and work efficiently under pressure.
  • Excellent academic credentials.
  • Active member of the bar in the state of the office location where applying.
  • Strong organizational, drafting, and analytical skills.

Education:

  • Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school.

Certifications:

  • Active Bar Membership in the state of the office where applying.
