Duties:

  • Healthcare Transactions:

    • Lead and support healthcare-related transactions, with a focus on private equity investments and acquisitions within the healthcare sector.
  • Client Advisory:

    • Advise clients across various healthcare industries, including private equity funds, hospitals, ambulatory surgery centers, dialysis centers, and long-term care facilities, on regulatory and transactional matters.
  • Collaborative Work:

    • Work closely with senior attorneys and colleagues to deliver strategic, business-oriented legal solutions for clients.
  • Legal Drafting and Negotiation:

    • Draft, review, and negotiate a wide range of healthcare transaction documents, including merger agreements, asset purchase agreements, and investment structures.
  • Industry Insights:

    • Stay abreast of developments in healthcare regulations and private equity trends, offering clients timely and practical legal guidance.

Requirements:

  • Experience:

    • 4-6 years of experience in healthcare transactions, with a particular emphasis on private equity transactions within the healthcare space.
  • Practice Area:

    • A strong interest and experience in healthcare law, especially in transactional matters related to private equity investments in healthcare entities.
  • Skills:

    • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to draft and negotiate complex transaction documents.
    • Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple matters simultaneously.
  • Law Firm Experience:

    • Prior experience in a sophisticated law firm environment is preferred.
  • Client Service:

    • Strong client-facing skills, with the ability to develop relationships and provide insightful legal advice.

Education:

  • Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from an accredited law school.

Certifications:

  • Admitted to practice in the state of Georgia (or the state where applying for the position).

  • Healthcare Law Expertise:

    • In-depth knowledge of healthcare laws and regulations, particularly those relevant to private equity transactions in the healthcare sector.
  • Transactional Experience:
