Duties

• Work closely with clients to develop legal strategies tailored to their needs.
• Draft, review, and revise legal documents, including estate planning documents and contracts for corporate and real estate transactions.
• Support and participate in firm-wide efforts to build efficient systems and processes for enhanced client service.
• Actively collaborate with team members to deliver comprehensive legal solutions.
• Engage in business development activities to grow and maintain a strong book of business.
• Contribute to strengthening the firm’s reputation and expanding its presence throughout the region.

Requirements

• Licensed to practice law in the Commonwealth of Virginia.
• Minimum of 3 years of experience in transactional law, including corporate law, estate planning, and real estate transactions.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills with a high level of emotional intelligence.
• Ability to independently manage one-on-one consultations with clients.
• Business and technology savvy or the ability to learn quickly in these areas.
• Team-oriented mindset with a willingness to assist in areas outside the core responsibilities when needed.

Education

• Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.

Certifications

• Active membership in good standing with the Virginia State Bar.
