Litigation Associate Attorney

A law firm seeks a motivated Litigation Associate Attorney to join its dynamic team in White Plains, NY. This position is ideal for candidates with 3-7 years of litigation experience who are eager to contribute to a vibrant and growing legal practice. Duties:

• Manage all phases of litigation, including drafting pleadings, motions, and discovery demands.
• Take depositions and represent clients in hearings and trials.
• Collaborate with colleagues to develop case strategies and provide quality legal counsel.
• Communicate effectively with clients and opposing counsel regarding case progress and negotiations.
• Participate in alternative dispute resolution (ADR) processes and administrative tribunal matters, if applicable.

Requirements:

• Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.
• Active license to practice law in New York.
• 3-7 years of litigation experience, with state and federal court exposure.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Detail-oriented with the ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines.
• Flexibility to adapt to changing circumstances and case demands.
• Proficiency in MS Office and Outlook; experience with ADR is a plus.

Education:

• JD from an accredited institution.

Certifications:

• Licensed to practice law in New York.

• Proven advocacy skills, with a willingness to provide writing samples during the interview process.
• Strong work ethic and ability to function effectively in a team-oriented environment.
