Job Overview

A well-established law firm is seeking a Junior Associate to join its Real Estate and Environmental Services Team. Location

Duties

• Advise clients on compliance with environmental regulations, including site remediation, waste management, air emissions, wastewater discharges, and chemical regulations

• Conduct legal research and draft legal memoranda

• Assist with transactional due diligence

• Support environmental litigation efforts

• Engage with government agencies on compliance and permitting matters

Requirements

• 1-3 years of experience in environmental law, including regulatory, litigation, transactional, and policy matters

• Strong research, writing, and analytical skills

• Admission to practice law in Michigan

• Indicate preferred office location in the cover letter

Education

• Juris Doctor (J.D.) from an accredited law school

Certifications

• Active bar membership in Michigan
