A law firm in Los Angeles is seeking an eDiscovery Associate Attorney who will be responsible for managing electronic discovery processes, providing legal counsel on related matters, and ensuring compliance with industry standards. The ideal candidate should have excellent counseling, writing, and hands-on litigation skills, with a focus on labor and employment law.

 

Duties:

  • Manage electronic discovery processes, including data collection, processing, and review.
  • Provide legal counsel on eDiscovery issues, ensuring compliance with relevant laws and regulations.
  • Collaborate with legal teams to develop strategies for efficient and cost-effective eDiscovery.
  • Conduct legal research and stay abreast of industry developments in eDiscovery.
  • Draft legal documents, including pleadings, motions, and discovery requests/responses.

 

Requirements:

  • 3-5 years of experience in eDiscovery.
  • Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.
  • Admission to the State Bar in the jurisdiction of practice.
  • Relevant industry affiliations and demonstrated knowledge of eDiscovery best practices.
  • A strong understanding of labor and employment law is a plus.

  • Excellent counseling and communication skills.
  • Strong legal research and writing abilities.
  • Hands-on litigation experience.
  • Familiarity with eDiscovery software and tools.
