Job Title: Corporate Associate Attorney

Job Location: Raleigh, NC

Job Overview: A prominent law firm is seeking a skilled Corporate Associate Attorney to join its expanding Corporate Practice Group. This role offers an exciting opportunity to work on a variety of business transactions, mergers and acquisitions (M&A), and complex commercial dealings. The ideal candidate will have 4 to 7 years of experience, bringing a strong background in deal structuring, negotiation, and due diligence. This is a chance to be part of a collaborative team that values professional growth and community involvement.

Duties:

  • Advise clients on buy-side and sell-side M&A transactions.

  • Manage a range of complex corporate and commercial transactions.

  • Provide legal counsel on deal structuring, due diligence, and drafting.

  • Lead negotiations and assist in transaction closings.

  • Work closely with senior attorneys and clients to drive successful outcomes.

  • Communicate effectively with clients, opposing counsel, and stakeholders.

  • Contribute to the development of legal strategies for corporate clients.

  • Collaborate across practice areas to provide comprehensive legal services.

Requirements:

  • 4-7 years of experience in corporate law with a focus on M&A and business transactions.

  • Strong legal research, writing, and analytical skills.

  • Excellent communication and negotiation abilities.

  • Proven experience in managing complex transactions from start to finish.

  • Detail-oriented with the ability to work under pressure.

  • Must be licensed to practice law in North Carolina (preferred).

Education:

  • Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.

Certifications:

  • Active North Carolina Bar license (preferred).

Skills:

  • Expertise in corporate law and M&A transactions.

  • Proficiency in structuring, drafting, and negotiating business agreements.

  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.

  • Ability to handle complex legal matters with autonomy and responsibility.
