No-Fault Litigation Attorney

A law firm seeks an experienced and detail-oriented attorney to join its team in New York, NY. This full-time position involves managing various aspects of no-fault litigation, including drafting legal documents, conducting depositions, and representing clients in court and arbitration settings. The ideal candidate will have at least three years of experience in no-fault litigation and a strong understanding of the legal processes involved.

Duties:

• Draft pleadings, motions, and legal briefs in connection with no-fault claims.
• Manage discovery and oversee the document production process.
• Conduct examinations before trial (EBTs) and examinations under oath (EUOs).
• Represent clients at trial and in arbitration hearings, advocating for their interests.
• Attend court appearances in New York County, Kings County, and other boroughs as required.
• Coordinate with clients, opposing counsel, and expert witnesses to prepare cases for trial.

Requirements:

• A minimum of 3 years of experience in no-fault litigation or similar areas of law.
• Strong knowledge of legal procedures, including motions, discovery, and trial preparation.
• Ability to represent clients confidently and effectively in court and arbitration hearings.
• Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple cases simultaneously.
• Attention to detail and commitment to delivering high-quality legal work.

Education:

• Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.

Certifications:

• Active New York State Bar admission required.

Skills:

• Excellent research, writing, and legal drafting skills.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Proficiency in handling EBTs, EUOs, and trial preparation.
• Familiarity with New York court procedures and the no-fault insurance system.
• Ability to work independently and manage a caseload effectively.
