Attorney needed for Sacramento office

A law firm in Sacramento, CA is seeking a motivated Attorney to join their team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for supporting the law practice and providing excellent legal representation to clients across various practice areas including civil litigation, family law, personal injury, landlord and tenant law, and estate planning. Bilingual/multilingual proficiency is highly encouraged for this role.

Duties:

• Represent clients in various legal proceedings such as hearings, trials, mediations, and arbitrations.
• Draft and review a variety of legal documents including pleadings, motions, discovery requests/responses, contracts, and estate planning documents.
• Conduct legal research and analysis on complex legal issues.
• Communicate effectively orally and in writing with clients, colleagues, experts, witnesses, opposing counsel, and judges.
• Manage a workload of multiple clients and competing deadlines efficiently.
• Advocate for clients’ interests and work towards achieving client-desired outcomes.
• Provide strategic legal advice and counsel to clients.

Requirements:

• Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from an accredited law school.
• Admission to the California State Bar and be in good standing.
• 3-5 years of experience practicing law, preferably with exposure to civil litigation, family law, personal injury, landlord and tenant law, and estate planning.
• Bilingual/multilingual proficiency is highly desired.
• Proven experience drafting a variety of court filings and legal documents.
• Experience effectively taking and defending cases in various legal settings.
• Strong commitment to client advocacy and achieving positive outcomes for clients.
• Outstanding analytical ability and problem-solving skills.
• Exceptional writing skills with attention to detail.
• Proficiency in legal research and computer skills.
