In this role, you will be responsible for handling various legal proceedings, conducting legal research, and advising clients on their rights and legal options.

Duties:

• Represent clients in civil litigation matters and legal proceedings
• Conduct comprehensive legal research to support case preparation
• Draft and file legal documents, including pleadings, motions, and briefs
• Negotiate settlements and agreements on behalf of clients
• Develop legal strategies to resolve disputes efficiently and effectively
• Present arguments in court and advocate for clients’ interests
• Advise clients regarding their legal rights, obligations, and available options
• Manage and prioritize multiple cases while meeting deadlines

Requirements:

• Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from an accredited law school
• Active membership in the California State Bar
• Minimum of 3 years of experience in personal injury law or pre-litigation work
• Proficient in conducting legal research using Westlaw and Lexis-Nexis
• Experience in negotiating settlements and drafting legal documents
• Strong verbal and written communication skills
• Excellent organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple cases simultaneously

Education:

• Doctoral degree (Juris Doctor) from an accredited law school

Certifications:

• Admission to the California State Bar

Skills:

• Strong negotiation and advocacy skills
• Proficiency in Westlaw, Lexis-Nexis, and other legal research tools
• Ability to analyze complex legal issues and develop sound strategies
• Attention to detail and excellent organizational skills
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
