The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of insurance coverage issues, including professional liability, general liability, and directors and officers insurance policies. This role requires excellent academic credentials, superior research and writing abilities, and the capability to handle complex insurance and reinsurance matters.

Duties:

  • Provide expert legal counsel on insurance coverage matters, including professional liability, general liability, and directors and officers insurance policies.
  • Analyze insurance policies and coverage disputes to develop strategic legal solutions.
  • Draft, review, and negotiate insurance-related documents, such as policies, contracts, and regulatory filings.
  • Represent clients in insurance coverage disputes and commercial litigation, including arbitration and court proceedings.
  • Prepare and file legal documents, including motions, briefs, and other litigation materials.
  • Conduct in-depth legal research and provide comprehensive analysis on insurance and reinsurance issues.
  • Develop and implement case strategies to achieve favorable outcomes for clients.
  • Collaborate with clients, insurance professionals, and internal teams to address and resolve insurance claims and coverage challenges.
  • Stay abreast of industry trends, regulatory changes, and legal developments affecting insurance law.

Requirements:

  • Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from an accredited law school.
  • Admission to the Pennsylvania State Bar or eligibility to obtain admission.
  • 2-5 years of experience in insurance coverage and commercial litigation.
  • Strong understanding of insurance coverage issues, including professional liability, general liability, and directors and officers insurance policies.

Education:

  • Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from an accredited law school.

Certifications:

  • Admission to the Pennsylvania State Bar or eligibility to obtain admission.
