Duties:

  • Represent buyers and sellers in private and public M&A transactions
  • Review, draft, and prepare transaction documents, including closing documents
  • Supervise and assist in the preparation of due diligence and disclosure schedules
  • Provide legal advice on general corporate and corporate governance matters
  • Engage in client communications and relationship management
  • Participate in business development and practice expansion efforts
  • Collaborate in a team-oriented work culture

Requirements:

  • 4-6 years of experience in mergers and acquisitions
  • Proficiency in handling M&A transactions, including document preparation and due diligence
  • Experience in corporate governance and general corporate matters
  • Strong critical thinking and problem-solving abilities
  • High level of attention to detail and organizational skills
  • Effective written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment
  • California bar admission required

Education:

  • Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school
  • Strong academic record

  • Active California bar membership
