Duties:

  • Work on commercial real estate financing transactions with a focus on CMBS/balance sheet loans.
  • Assist in the asset management and servicing of CMBS/balance sheet loans.
  • Draft and review loan agreements, servicing documents, and other related transactional documents.
  • Provide legal guidance on regulatory and compliance matters related to CMBS transactions.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure smooth execution of financial transactions.
  • Conduct thorough research and provide legal analysis on complex real estate finance issues.
  • Represent clients in negotiations, ensuring their interests are well-protected.
  • Handle all aspects of transaction management from initiation to closing.

Requirements:

  • 3-5 years of experience in commercial real estate finance, with a focus on CMBS and balance sheet financing.
  • Strong knowledge of asset management and loan servicing related to CMBS/balance sheet loans.
  • Demonstrated ability to manage multiple transactions and deadlines.
  • Proven track record in client management and interaction.

Education:

  • Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.
  • Active Bar membership in good standing.

Certifications:

  • Licensed to practice law in the state of Texas, or the ability to waive in.

Skills:

  • Excellent legal research, writing, and drafting abilities.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work independently while also collaborating with team members.
