Job Overview
A law firm seeks an experienced and driven Commercial Real Estate Associate Attorney to join its growing team in Buffalo, New York. Duties

  • Draft and negotiate a variety of commercial real estate transaction documents, including purchase and sale agreements, commercial leases, loan documents, and closing documents.
  • Review and resolve title and survey issues.
  • Advise clients on real estate transactions, including acquisitions, sales, financing, and leases.
  • Perform legal research and prepare analyses to support client matters.
  • Work closely with clients and internal teams to facilitate transactions and resolve legal matters efficiently.
  • Manage multiple projects with competing deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
  • Take part in direct client meetings, providing advice and updates on legal matters.

Requirements

  • 3 to 8 years of experience in commercial real estate law.
  • Strong drafting, negotiation, and communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently and manage client relationships effectively.
  • Experience in reviewing and resolving title and survey issues is preferred but not required.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Self-motivated with the ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Experience with commercial leases, loan documents, and related real estate documents is essential.

Education

  • Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.

Certifications

  • Admission to the New York State Bar.
  • Other jurisdiction admissions are welcomed but not required.
