Duties

• Draft and review legal documents, ensuring they comply with immigration laws and regulations.
• Provide expert legal counsel to clients on matters such as visa applications and residency issues.
• Work directly with clients to gather required documentation and assist with preparing for hearings.
• Maintained organized case files and managed critical deadlines effectively.
• Stay updated on changes in immigration law and policy to provide the most accurate and informed guidance.
• Lead and manage legal assistants for cases assigned, ensuring high-quality performance and collaboration.

Requirements

• Minimum 3 years of experience in Immigration and Nationality law.
• Strong knowledge of EBI (Employment-Based Immigration) laws and processes.
• Excellent written communication skills.
• Strong attention to detail and organizational abilities.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
• Must be a member of the Florida State Bar.
• Proficiency in legal research tools such as Lexis-Nexis and AILA Link.
• Multilingual candidates are encouraged to apply, particularly those with proficiency in a second language.

Education

• Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited U.S. law school.

Certifications

• Active membership in a Florida State Bar.
