A law firm is seeking a highly motivated and skilled Mid-level Intellectual Property Associate Attorney to join their dynamic team in Seattle, WA. Job Responsibilities:

  • Conduct thorough legal research and analysis on intellectual property and patent issues.
  • Draft and prepare legal documents, including motions, briefs, and pleadings.
  • Represent clients in court, hearings, depositions, and settlement discussions.
  • Advise clients on intellectual property strategies and litigation matters.
  • Collaborate with senior attorneys and other team members on case strategy and development.
  • Stay current with changes in intellectual property law and related regulations.
  • Perform due diligence for intellectual property transactions.
  • Assist in the preparation and prosecution of patent applications.
  • Engage in client development activities, including meetings and presentations.

 

Requirements:

  • Admission to the State Bar.
  • 3-7 years of experience in intellectual property and/or patent litigation.
  • Bachelor’s or higher degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, Physics, Chemistry, Biochemistry, Chemical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or equivalent is preferred.
  • Excellent academic credentials.
  • Superior writing and communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities.

 

Education:

Bachelor’s or higher degree in relevant technical fields such as Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, Physics, Chemistry, Biochemistry, Chemical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or equivalent is preferred.

 

Certifications:

Admission to the State Bar.
