Associate Attorney needed for Saint Louis office

A law firm in Saint Louis, MO is seeking an Associate Attorney to join its hearings department. The ideal candidate will prepare clients for administrative hearings, advocate on their behalf, and draft administrative appeals to the Appeals Council. Strong organizational, communication, and legal analysis skills are essential. Experience in Social Security Disability law or appellate work is advantageous.

Duties:

• Prepare clients for administrative hearings.
• Advocate for clients at administrative hearings.
• Draft administrative appeals to the Appeals Council.

Requirements:

• Active attorney license.
• Strong writing skills (required).
• Strong organizational skills (required).
• Background in Social Security Disability law or appellate work (helpful).
• Licensed attorney or soon-to-be licensed law school graduate.

Education and Experience:

• Juris Doctor (JD) degree.
• Preferably 1-3 years of experience.
