A well-established law firm is seeking a motivated Personal Injury Associate Attorney to join their team. Duties

• Consult with clients regarding their injuries and legal needs
• Draft pleadings, motions, orders, and other legal documents
• Manage both pre-litigation and litigation phases of personal injury cases
• Review, audit, and assess personal injury cases to determine their strengths and weaknesses
• Draft and review retainer agreements and handle intake procedures
• Conduct legal research on relevant issues
• Prepare and defend depositions
• Negotiate settlements with insurance adjusters to secure the highest possible compensation
• Assist with witness preparation and case management

Requirements

• Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school
• Active license to practice law in Nevada (or pending approval)
• 1-2 years of experience in personal injury law preferred, but not required
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Ability to effectively manage a caseload and meet deadlines
• Exceptional attention to detail and organizational skills
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and as part of a collaborative team
• Positive attitude and willingness to learn

Education

• Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school

Certifications

• Active Bar membership in Nevada (or in process)
