The attorney will be involved in all aspects of litigation, from intake through trial or settlement, and will play a vital role in ensuring the firm's mission of delivering exceptional client care.

Duties:

• Represent clients in personal injury cases from initial intake through settlement or trial.
• Conduct client communication and provide updates on case developments.
• Take and defend depositions, prepare witnesses, and engage in discovery.
• Draft and respond to motions and pleadings.
• Lead mediation and settlement negotiations.
• Develop legal strategies tailored to the unique circumstances of each case.
• Serve as lead attorney in jury trials and handle courtroom litigation.
• Ensure compliance with all legal procedures, including the Rules of Civil Procedure and Evidence.

Requirements:

• Minimum of 5+ years of experience in personal injury or civil litigation.
• Proven track record of leading 1st chair jury trials.
• Licensed and in good standing with the Tennessee State Bar.
• In-depth knowledge of the Rules of Civil Procedure and Rules of Evidence.
• Strong legal writing and research skills, especially in drafting and responding to motions.

Education:

• Juris Doctor (J.D.) from an accredited law school.
• Must hold a valid law license in Tennessee.

Certifications:

• Licensed attorney in the state of Tennessee.
