Duties

• Handle a range of regulatory matters related to consumer financial services.
• Advise on compliance with state and federal regulations concerning payments, credit products, and consumer protection laws (UDAP/UDAAP).
• Provide legal counsel on emerging financial technologies, including FinTech solutions, digital assets, and cryptocurrency.
• Assist clients such as mortgage lenders and servicers with regulatory navigation.
• Maintain effective communication and build strong client relationships.
• Engage with complex, challenging financial services matters, contributing valuable insight and innovative solutions.

Requirements

• Minimum of 4 years of relevant experience in consumer financial regulatory matters.
• Strong knowledge of state and federal financial regulations.
• Demonstrated expertise in payments and credit product compliance.
• Exceptional oral and written communication skills.
• Proven ability to manage multiple projects efficiently.

Education

• Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.
• Active membership in good standing with a local state bar.

Certifications

• Bar admission is required and maintained in good standing.
