The Mid-Level Entertainment Advertising Associate Attorney will counsel clients in the entertainment industry, particularly in advertising, marketing, intellectual property, and data privacy matters. Duties:

  • Drafting, reviewing, and negotiating various transactional agreements within the advertising and marketing ecosystem.
  • Researching, analyzing, and providing strategic counsel on compliance matters related to advertising, marketing, promotions, and social media.
  • Counseling clients in connection with advertising, trademark, and copyright disputes.
  • Advising clients on data privacy and security compliance matters and handling related agreements.
  • Conducting due diligence and research to support transactional and compliance matters.
  • Managed client relationships and communicated effectively to develop tailored legal strategies.

Requirements:

  • Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from an accredited law school.
  • Active Bar membership in good standing in Illinois or eligibility for admission via reciprocity.
  • 4-6 years of experience as a transactional associate in a law firm setting.
  • Significant experience in advertising, intellectual property, and/or data privacy.
  • Strong drafting, negotiation, and analytical skills.
  • Meticulous attention to detail.
  • Demonstrated ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines.
