Job Duties:

  • Conduct legal research, analyze complex legal issues, and formulate well-grounded legal opinions.
  • Draft pleadings, motions, briefs, discovery requests/responses, and opinion letters.
  • Represent clients in court hearings, trials, arbitrations, and mediations.
  • Manage all aspects of litigation cases from inception through resolution.
  • Communicate effectively with clients, colleagues, and stakeholders.
  • Supervise and mentor junior associates and legal staff as needed.
  • Collaborate with partners and senior attorneys on case strategy and litigation tactics.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date case files and records.

Requirements:

  • Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from an accredited law school.
  • Active Pennsylvania Bar license in good standing.
  • 5+ years of proven experience in commercial litigation and drafting well-grounded opinion letters.
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Excellent research, writing, and analytical skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Demonstrated ability to handle a high-volume caseload efficiently.
  • Prior experience supervising and mentoring legal staff is advantageous.
