Labor and Employment Attorney

Job Overview:

A well-established law firm is seeking an experienced Labor and Employment Attorney to join its team remotely. The ideal candidate will have 3+ years of experience in defending clients in employment litigation, including class action and PAGA cases, and a deep understanding of federal and state employment laws. Location:

Duties:

• Defend clients in employment litigation, including class action and PAGA cases.
• Provide legal counsel on a wide range of labor and employment law issues.
• Advise clients on compliance with federal and state employment laws and regulations.
• Cultivate and maintain relationships with potential and existing clients.
• Draft legal documents including pleadings, motions, and discovery requests.
• Attend hearings, depositions, and trials as required.
• Ensure the firm's cases are handled efficiently and in compliance with legal and regulatory requirements.
• Collaborate with team members to develop case strategies.

Requirements:

• 3+ years of experience in Labor and Employment Law.
• Experience in defending clients in employment litigation, including class action/PAGA cases.
• Strong understanding of federal and state employment laws and regulations.
• Ability to excel in a fast-paced environment.
• Proven ability to build and maintain client relationships.
• Strong work ethic and positive attitude.

Education:

• Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from an accredited law school.

Certifications:

• Licensed to practice law in California.
